We Feed Kids! The Appalachian Nutrition Network combats hunger by providing healthy meals, snacks, and education to the children living at or below poverty level in West Virginia’s and Ohio’s Appalachian regions. OUR PROMISE…………..

” We promise to feed as many children as possible while advocating for more permanent solutions. We promise to provide healthy meals with as much fresh fruit and vegetables as possible and to target our purchases to local food providers to help create local jobs.”

Next summer kids at many of our sites will experience the joy of fresh fruit and vegetables purchased at local farms. No more tasteless tomatoes shipped thousands of miles. Delicious and healthy tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, carrots, and on and on will be purchased from farmers just a few miles from the site! Stay tuned for more news.
